Etsy Team - Handmade Promo Team

I recently joined a team on Etsy. I've done teams before, but unless you are in the "circle" it's pretty hard work. I found that people were posting every few second "off to make a cup of tea", "back, lovely tea"...it's hard to keep up with that as there were often pages and pages of chitchat to wade through to be able to contribute.

Pleased to say that this team is focussed on pushing sales and promoting each other, no circles and captains who are really motivating. I've learnt a lot from them and I hope that I am contributing too with the roles that I have taken on. If you are interested to join, then get in touch.

So here I am with a new blog to work on my social media presence in the hope that a blog that supports more of what I need will motivate me.

Currently I'm focussing on Pinterest, I'm starting to get the hang of it and I'm sure I'll see some benefits. As a team, some (most) of us have participated in the Etsy School for Pinterest - 4 weeks of studying and building our knowledge of Pinterest whilst working with a buddy online - you have to love the internet!

Learnt some interesting things and been pleased with the results mainly. Do have a small gripe with the location (Places) boards which is powered by a third party map tool and seems a bit flaky. I'll be adding all of the folks in the Handmade promo Team to this map, but here's a start. Have a look and see what you think, be prepared to do what feels like extra work to add locations, though....such a shame when pinning something is a breeze that is is so cumbersome.
